How it all began

Sweet Melissa Honey started with one goal in mind: saving the American Honey Bee. I started beekeeping almost a decade ago after being alarmed at the research that began coming out about the disappearing bee population and Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). I wanted to do something to help the bees, so my journey as a "Backyard Beekeeper" began. Over the years my "Backyard Beekeeping" evolved into a business and Sweet Melissa Honey was born.
